as part of our personal commitment to design and our community, factory 1 has created elements for several bay area affordable housing projects. this work embodies our precept that design should be accessible, evoking a rich community experience.

working with agency/architectural project teams, elements are designed to enhance and fulfill functional requirements related to community spaces. our design work is donated and fabrication costs discounted to ensure that new and vibrant materials are utilized, providing resonant community spaces within budget constraints.
